Lunch in Tangier

Tourists visiting Spain will likely have a chance to nip across the Mediterranean to Morocco. If they do, Tangier is one of the ports they are likely to go to. Want to join us for lunch there?

Welcome to Tangier, Morocco.

Our tour bus has brought us to this large open area in the city.

Before lunch we are treated to a show, featuring horses and riders displaying their skills with rifles.

There are camels to pet and ride.

 There is the tent where our lunch will be served.

Inside it is very colorful…and there are musicians to entertain us.

 And the food…oh, the food. It is delicious!

The water bottles have Arabic script…

but the soft drinks bottles look just like at home!

Near the end of the meal a lovely young woman enters the stage and performs a graceful belly dance.

 All in all, a most pleasant experience.
