Well, my armchair traveler, think you got the correct answer?
Let’s see. Where in the World are we?
This photo was taken just north of Glasgow, Scotland on the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomand.
Being familiar with the folk song, I just had to visit the real loch (lake).
My first look at the lake was a bit disappointing. Perhaps I had built up such romantic images of the area while listening to the Scottish folk song “Loch Lomand” over the years, that the real thing had no chance of living up to what I expected. However after being in the area a few hours I was quite content with the real thing.
Aside: Loch…that was the one word in Clue 1 that likely was most helpful in identifying the country. Did you pick up on it?
