Do you recognize this historical figure?
Another hint…even if you recognize the man you still have to figure out where in the world this statue is. Not all that easy as this fellow sailed all over the world...even to parts unknown in his time.

Yes, you are correct. That is Queen Victoria.
I know…statues of Queen Victoria are found all over the world. However, the smaller carving on the base of the statue is rather interesting. (Click on the photo to have a closer look.)
